Summer in the Psalms

According to God, the truly blessed man distinguishes himself from the world, delights himself in the Word of God, and displays fruit that lasts. Join us in this Father's Day message as we consider what it really means to be blessed and how Jesus Christ is the source of all true blessing.

On this Independence Day, we take a look at the true King of the nations and how He his kingdom cannot be shaken. We are encouraged as we remember that the power of man can in no way disrupt the plan of God. Join us as we study this Messianic psalm.

We are to be a people who marvel at the majesty of God we see around us. Here in Psalm 8, we're encouraged to marvel at the majesty of God's Name, God's ways, God's creation, and God's care. Join us as we consider ways to cultivate this sense of awe and wonder before God.

It is so easy to drift and so hard to stay the course. Yet when we drift in our walk with God, it can have eternally devastating consequences. Join us as we take a look at Psalm 95 as David calls us to whole-hearted worship of God and cautions us of hard-hearted wandering from God.

"Faith over fear" is a phrase we are all quite familiar with due to COVID-19. But faith in what? Today we learn from Psalm 56 that only faith in the God who has revealed Himself in the Person of Jesus and on the pages of Scripture is well founded. Join us as we consider how to live with bold confidence in our increasingly anxious age.

In this homecoming sermon, we consider with David some of the God's many blessings to us and how we ought to respond by blessing the Lord with all our being and gathering others to join us in doing so.
