"MARKS OF A HEALTHY CHURCH: A CONCERN FOR DISCIPLESHIP & GROWTH—2 PETER 1:3-11—JAN. 27, 2019 (audio didn't record)
When a newborn baby shows no weight gain or height gain during their first few months of doctor visits, it is a cause for serious alarm. Yet many who profess faith in Christ don't seem that alarmed when they bear little fruit of spiritual growth. Peter encourages us to keep growing spiritually, but also warns us that lack of growth should concern us. He tells us that our growth is empowered by God, displays our spiritual health, and assures us of future glory.

"MARKS OF A HEALTHY CHURCH: BIBLICAL CHURCH DISCIPLINE"—MATTHEW 18:15-20—JAN. 13, 2019
There are some things Jesus taught that are just hard to practice. Biblical church discipline is one of those. Yet it is ultimately for the good of the church, the world, and the one living in heinous sin. Those who are committed to the same church family have a responsibility to love one another enough to address each other when their is major sin present in our lives. In this message, we see why to do this how to do this and what the end result of doing this is.

"MARKS OF A HEALTHY CHURCH: MISSIONS-MINDED"- PSALM 67- 12/2/18
In this missionary psalm, we see that the heartbeat of every child of God is for the conversion of the nations. Yet among the thousands of various people groups that make up our world, 41% of them have very few if any who claim Christianity as their religion. In this psalm, we'll see that we must be outward-oriented in our praying, joy-driven in our mission, and hope-filled in our labors to reach the nations with the Gospel.

"MARKS OF A HEALTHY CHURCH: BIBLICAL MEMBERSHIP"- 1 CORINTHIANS 12:12-27- 11/25/18
Christians are not meant to be lone rangers, yet many think this way. We who have been united the universal body of Christ must unite to a local body of believers where we can belong, serve, and love. In this sermon we break down why church membership from 1 Corinthians 12 and are able to see that all of us are called to be an active part of a local fellowship.

"MARKS OF A HEALTHY CHURCH: BIBLICAL EVANGELISM"- 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17-6:2- 11/18/18
What comes to mind when you hear the word evangelism? For most of us, joy is not our first reaction but fear or guilt. But God did not intend to put a burden on our backs when He told us to share the Gospel. In our study today, we discover that evangelism is meant to be something enjoyable for every believer. The main motivator in our evangelism should be to see sinners reconciled to God just as God has reconciled us to Himself. We'll see that we're called to be ambassadors who bring terms of peace from the offended King of heaven and that our message cannot be anymore urgent or important.

"MARKS OF A HEALTHY CHURCH: CONVERSION"- ACTS 26:9-20- 11/11/18
Can people change? This is a question that gets to the heart of Christianity. We believe that the Gospel changes people as they are genuinely converted. Scripture gives us an example in Paul's conversion of how God can turn the church's greatest persecutor into it's greatest preacher and Apostle. We discover that conversion is totally a work of God and yet how we must repent and believe to be converted. We are challenged to believe in God's power to save those we know and love who are without Christ.

"MARKS OF A HEALTHY CHURCH: A FIRM GRASP ON THE GOSPEL"- ROMANS 3:9-26- 11/4/18
What is the best news of all? The good news of the Gospel. But good news is only as good as the bad news is bad. In this sermon, we take a look at our predicament and God's provision in the Gospel of Christ. We conclude considering how this Gospel should impact us today.

"MARKS OF A HEALTHY CHURCH: A HIGH VIEW OF GOD"- EXODUS 33:17-34:9- 10/28/18
We've all had particularly special moments in our lives where we've caught a glimpse of something glorious that has humbled and inspired us. In Exodus 33 and 34, Moses is given a front row seat to behold God's glory, but what he hears is more important that what he sees. Join us as we listen to God preach a sermon about his own greatness and are challenged to pursue this awesome God.

"MARKS OF A HEALTHY CHURCH: PREACHING THAT EXPOSES GOD'S WORD"- 2 TIMOTHY 3:16-4:4- 10/21/18

A healthy church is one with preaching that exposes the Word of God to the people of God. Join us as we study the preacher's responsibility, charge, and perseverance.
